Hola me llamo Joselin Lopez y soy la Manager en la officina de Liverpool de Kairros. My name is Joselin Lopez I'm the site manager at Liverpool. We help people get back to work once they’ve had an injury and they can't get back to their pre-injury duties.
For most of our clients, English is their second language and so what we identified is that we were facing a lot of English barriers with our clients and so we created what is called an English for Employment program. Our English for Employment program runs for 12 weeks and it assists our clients with improving their English skills with applying for positions, how to speak to employer’s, some of the simple stuff that for people who English is their first language is common stuff and easy when you’re job seeking.
They really needed extra assistance, it makes their job seeking a lot easier for them. I guess I’m very lucky to be the site manager of a close knit team out there. We all work really well I mean as a good example yesterday we had three employment outcomes so I went and bought cake and it just gives us a bit of job satisfactions with difficult clients and different barriers that we face everyday with our job. It’s not an easy job but when we do get people back to work it’s a great job satisfaction that we get out of it.
